Zur Cathay Group gehören zudem der Frachtcarrier Air Hong Kong und der Bodenabfertiger Cathay Cargo Terminal.

Cathay Cargo arbeitet als Kombinationscarrier. Die eigene Frachterflotte umfasst 20 Boeing 747 — 14 B747-8F und sechs B747-400ERF (Stand 27. Mai 2026). Dazu kommen acht bestellte Airbus A350F: sechs aus der Bestellung von 2023 und zwei weitere über Kaufrechte, die im Mai 2026 ausgeübt wurden. Ergänzend vermarktet Cathay Cargo die Unterflurkapazität des Passagiernetzes der Cathay Group, das mehr als 100 Ziele weltweit bedient.
