Heimat des 4° Stormo der italienischen Luftwaffe (Aeronautica Militare) mit Eurofighter-Typhoon-Abfangjägern ist der Flughafen Grosseto (IATA: GRS, ICAO: LIRS) in der toskanischen Maremma, rund 3 km westlich der Stadt.
