## Beschreibung

Rund 3'000 Tonnen Fracht schlug Pardubice (IATA: PED, ICAO: LKPD) 2024 um – bescheiden neben Prag, aber die wichtigste Cargo-Option Ostböhmens. Die Industriestadt rund 100 km östlich von Prag ist Foxconn-Standort, und der zivil-militärisch genutzte Platz fertigt dokumentiert Ad-hoc-Frachtcharter ab, bis hin zu Grossraumfrachtern und Antonov-Schwerlastmaschinen für Übergrossladung. Neben Charter- und Ferienflügen beherbergt er das Ausbildungszentrum der Piloten der tschechischen Streitkräfte. Von 17. Februar bis 31. Mai 2025 war der Betrieb wegen Pistensanierung eingestellt; seit Juni 2025 läuft er wieder. Grössere Luftfrachtvolumen bündelt Prag (IATA: PRG, ca. 100 km).
