Als EFTA- und EWR-Mitglied hat das Land Zugang zum EU-Binnenmarkt, gehört aber nicht zur EU-Zollunion, weshalb gegenüber der EU Zollformalitäten gelten. Die Einfuhr-MwSt (MVA) beträgt 25 Prozent (ermässigt 15 und 12 Prozent); die Zollabwicklung läuft über TVINN bei der Tolletaten, mit der Einführung des neuen Systems Digitoll. Wichtigste Häfen sind Oslo (Container), Bergen und Narvik (Eisenerz); Luftfracht vor allem über Oslo Gardermoen. Exportiert werden Erdöl, Erdgas, Lachs und Aluminium. Norwegen (NO) liegt auf der skandinavischen Halbinsel und ist als Energie- und Fischexporteur (Erdöl, Erdgas, Lachs) ein EFTA- und EWR-Markt mit eigenem Zollgebiet. Über das EWR-Abkommen nimmt Norwegen am EU-Binnenmarkt teil, gehört aber nicht zur EU-Zollunion: Gegenüber der EU gelten Zollformalitäten mit Ursprungsnachweisen (EUR.1, EUR-MED, REX), während Industriewaren im EWR weitgehend zollfrei sind. Die Zollabwicklung läuft elektronisch über TVINN bei der Tolletaten; das neue System Digitoll wird eingeführt (digitale Vorabmeldung ab 15.9.2026 Pflicht). Die Einfuhr-MwSt (MVA) beträgt 25 Prozent, ermässigt 15 und 12 Prozent. Wichtigste Gateways sind die Häfen Oslo (grösster Containerhafen), Bergen, Narvik (Eisenerz, Ofotbahn) und Kristiansand sowie der Frachtflughafen Oslo Gardermoen (OSL). Landseitig verbinden die E6 (Oslo–Trondheim–Narvik sowie Oslo–Svinesund nach Schweden), die E18/E39 und die E16 nach Bergen das Land; auf der Schiene sind Bergensbanen, Dovrebanen und die Ofotbahn zentral. Exportiert werden Erdöl und Erdgas, Fisch (Reefer), Aluminium und Maschinen; wichtigste Partner sind Grossbritannien, Deutschland, die Niederlande und Schweden.
