Zoll und Einfuhrsteuer (VAT 15,5 Prozent) werden von der ZIMRA über ASYCUDA World abgewickelt; Simbabwe ist Mitglied von SADC, COMESA und AfCFTA.

Simbabwe (ISO-Code: ZW) ist ein Binnenstaat im südlichen Afrika und grenzt an Südafrika, Botswana, Sambia und Mosambik. Das Land ist eine präsidiale Republik; die politische und wirtschaftliche Lage gilt regional als wechselhaft. Das Klima ist überwiegend subtropisch mit ausgeprägter Regenzeit (November bis März) und Trockenzeit. Wirtschaftlich stützt sich Simbabwe auf Bergbau (Gold, Platin, Lithium, Nickel), Landwirtschaft (Tabak, Baumwolle), verarbeitende Industrie und Dienstleistungen. Als Binnenland ist Simbabwe auf Transitkorridore angewiesen: der Nord-Süd-Korridor über Beitbridge nach Durban, der Beira-Korridor über Forbes/Machipanda nach Mosambik sowie die Trans-Kalahari-Route über Botswana nach Walvis Bay. Die National Railways of Zimbabwe ergänzen das Strassennetz. Seit April 2024 ist das Simbabwe-Gold (ZiG, Währungscode ZWG) die offizielle Landeswährung, doch der US-Dollar bleibt im Mehrwährungssystem dominierendes Zahlungsmittel. Zoll und Einfuhrsteuer werden von der Zimbabwe Revenue Authority (ZIMRA) über ASYCUDA World abgewickelt.
