# Vorab-Frachtinformationen (ACI)

> Im Unterschied zu einer allgemeinen Vorabbenachrichtigung steht ACI (Advance Cargo Information) für ein strukturiertes, elektronisches Pflichtmeldeverfahren: Verlader und Spediteure übermitteln Absender, Empfänger, Warenbeschreibung, Gewicht, Stückzahl und Containernummern an die zuständigen Zollbehörden – in der Regel vor Abgang oder Ankunft, wobei die genauen Fristen je nach Transportweg und Zielland variieren.
