An der Ostküste von Salt Spring Island in den Southern Gulf Islands British Columbias liegt Ganges Harbour (CA GGS), die natürliche Bucht, die dem gleichnamigen Hauptort der Insel ihren Namen gab. Für Container-, Stückgut- oder Bulkfracht ist der Hafen von Vancouver beziehungsweise der Fährterminal Tsawwassen auf dem Festland massgebend.
